Editorial note and Conference Highlights of Journal of Otology & Rhinology

We are pleased to mention that during the year 2020, all issues of volume 9 were published online successfully within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Google Scholar, Genamics JournalSeek, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), CiteFactor, Directory of Research Journal Indexing (DRJI), IndianScience.in, Jour Informatics, CiteSeerx, American Standards for Journals and Research (ASJR), InfoBase Index, Secret Search Engine Labs During the calendar year 2020, IPAPP received a total of 30 papers, out of which few articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2020 around 15 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 4 issues of Volume 9 published during the year 2020, a total of 15 articles were published (at an average of 4 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. A total of 32 research scientists from all over the world reviewed the 14 articles published in volume 9. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 2-3 weeks. Journal of Otology & Rhinology also announces its new association with scitechnol group for Archiving, Journal maintenance, financial purpose and support. However the journal will be running its original website www.scitechnol.com parallel for Editorial and review work process so as to maintain its highest standard of scientific work. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of editors and Associate Editors, during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistants. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of scitechnol for their support in bringing out yet another volume and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume in scheduled time.

 

Otolaryngology and ENT is one of the specialties which deals with the medical care of Ear, Nose, Throat. ENT 2020 features outstanding and internationally renowned Otolaryngologists, Surgeons, Professors, academicians and researchers. The topics covered at the conference would range a spectrum of ENT and Medical Devices. Attendees of the conference would be delighted to witness various interactive workshops, keynote lectures, speaker talks, and poster presentations and most significantly the exhibitions held by the top healthcare and pharma industries. The conference also has Young Research Forum, where the budding researchers are encouraged to give oral presentations. Otorhinolaryngology is a surgical subspecialty in medicine that deals with the cause of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and related structures of the head and neck. Specialists who work in this area are called otorhinolaryngologists, otolaryngologists, ENT surgeons. Patients under treatment from an otorhinolaryngologist for diseases of the ear, nose, throat, base of the skull, and for the surgical running of cancers and benign tumors of the head and neck.

We successfully completed ENT 2020 Conference which was held in June 25, 2020. The conference was held with a wide array of keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and poster sessions.

We gladly announce “9th Edition of International Conference on Otorhinolaryngology” which is scheduled to be held during November 23-24, 2020 and the event is enlightened with the theme “Modernization in the field of Otorhinolaryngology and its achievements”. Supported through the organizing committee network of renowned scientific and professional experts, it provided a platform for collaboration among colleagues, vendors and academia to reveal new innovations, solutions, ideas and emerging technologies. The proceedings will be published in the “Journal of Otology & Rhinology”.
