Cancers of the nasal cavity or the paranasal sinuses have a low prevalence and incidence. In addition the presentation in various subsites of the nose and the paranasal sinuses and the existence of multiple tumor histopathologies complicate an execution of a study. These cancers represent 0.5% of all malignant neoplasms and 3% of head and neck cancers. 50% of the nasal cancers are squamous cell carcinomas (SCC).
